This is a memorable tour since you get to visit nice and beautiful historic sites in the south on the city. To begin with e will drive you to Coyoacan, oldest Spanish residential settlement in Mexico City. Cortez and his soldiers founded the villages even before they conquered Mexico Tenochtitlan.
You will see the old Zocalo and the church of San Juan.
Xochimiloco is our next stop. Located in the southern suburbs, Xochimilco is well known because of the centuries old artificial islands in lakes just below volcanic mountains. People have been devoted to cultivate plants and flowers that adorn the city, you will visit the local, big flower market before taking a boat ride along canals on a colorful boat, Tranjinera.
On the way back you see the University City, campus of the national University. Recently listed as word heritage site by UNSECO, thousands of acres on volcanic ground were urbanized to build the campus. It turned out into the most important social and urban project in the country over the last century. You will see the Olympic Stadium, the central library and the central tower all built on Lava Rock.
