México City is the center of it all!
Today you will visit some of the most relevant sites in town.
Early in the morning we take you to the Zocalo, Main Square. Our guide will lead you through the metropolitan cathedral, the largest one in the Americas and the ruins of Templo mayor, centuries ago, this was the capital “City of Aztecs” military empire.
You will also visit the national Palace which is the official residence of the Mexican federal government.
There are some awesome frescoes by Diego Rivera, paintings that narrate the history of the country.
Next we drive you along Reforma Avenue full with monuments, important buildings and district on our way to the national museum of anthropology.
The collection of pre-Columbian archaeological material takes us back into México’s ancient history. The Azteca-mexica room will be guided and you will also have time on our own to explore more.
Your tour also includes visiting the central crafts market with handicrafts from all over the country.
