The magnificent Sumidero Canyon is located outside of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, which is the capital of Chiapas. A ride on a speed boot takes you through the 15 mile-long canyon with its impressive rock walls and diverse fauna and flora.

The Sumidero canyon is one of the most beautiful landscape south eastern of Mexico. On an excursion of 1.5 hrs boat ride you will explore the Grijalva River which has a depth of over 1000 meters and you will have the chance to see the wildlife of Chiapas as birds, fish, monkeys, and hopefully also a few crocodiles occasionally lie on the rocks to warm sun of Chiapas.

After this we go to town to eat in Chiapa de Corzo.
There you can visit also the center of town and will have enough time to explore the city.

San Cristobal counts as one of the most beautiful cities in Chiapas.
The city and its villages offer plenty of culture in the region of Mexico, and found several Indians around the city.

You will be impressed to see at the Zocalo of San Cristobal the Indians of Chiapas.
